Which court and police handle a Melaka City case?

What the federal law says
The freeze and mule-account rules are federal, so they are the same in Melaka City as anywhere in Malaysia. Under the Anti-Money Laundering Act 2001 (AMLA) section 50, the Public Prosecutor can order a freeze on an account suspected of holding money from crime. [f1]

A freeze blocks the money for now. You may be able to apply to release money for reasonable business costs while the freeze runs. A lawyer can check which law froze the account and prepare the application with your booking records and statements.
