What is the most serious charge, and what are my rights?
The heaviest mule offence is Penal Code section 424C, for moving money through an account with no lawful purpose. It carries three to ten years in jail or a fine of RM10,000 to RM150,000, or both [f3].
Article 5(3) of the Federal Constitution gives an arrested person the right to consult a lawyer of their choice [f6].
Is legal aid available in Kuantan?
